Inside a Windows Store 8.1 app can i share a link to a web address which allows a user to download a .exe file? -


my requirement associate .exe file windows store 8.1 app. acceptable give link through section of store app web address user can download .exe file. there problem certification process. please suggest suitable alternative if possible.

there nothing in windows store policies says otherwise. can't attempt run *.exe file programmatically of course, should fine otherwise.

since app network-capable, remember add privacy policy (see here) detailing whether user information sent external website/server.
