networking - How to ping a remote server(with public ip) from a local machine? -


i have board in office ip 192.168.20.x. have vpn access office laptop public ip.

i'm able ping board, should ping laptop board?

i running ntp server on machine, time in sync laptop.

how do this?

your laptop should ip address virtual vpn adapter. try use address when doing reverse ping. can see adapters , ip addresses in pc using console command ipconfig assuming on windows.
