java - Eclipse Luna -PyDev plugin- deleting it's own exe file repeatedly -

eclipse version- eclipse-java-luna-sr1a-win32-x86_64

java jdk/jre version- 1.8.0_31

python version- 2.7

i use eclipse python programming, using pydev eclipse plugin , have been close 2 years, no updates java, python or eclipseyesterday no reason eclipse crashed first time in 1-2 years. attempted restart eclipse via task bar shortcut. i received error "the item eclipse.exe shortcut refers has been changed or removed, shortcut no longer work properly. want remove shortcut?"??? upon further inspection realized error correct, eclipse.exe in fact removed eclipse install location. "ok...", thought, computer automatically backs important data each week , last backup yesterday. restored last version of eclipse , attempted start up, time using actual .exe rather shortcut. nope, exe started, chose work space, crashed , deleted .exe... going on.

i thought maybe java version might corrupted (no exit code thrown eclipse not likely) restored last version of java, restored eclipse , tried again. started , ran fine. great problem solved... morning upon waking realized eclipse started deleting it's self again... rather waiting 10 minutes restore last version tried grabbing last version of eclipse.exe , placing current version of eclipse. .exe continues delete on , on again...

i have scoured google , stack overflow several hours , haven't found having same issue me decided record absurd process , post video on youtube.

thank's in advance!

update- eclipse runs fine if open folder in sandboxie, place restored version of .exe in folder , run.

i have resolved issues downloading latest version of eclipse , reinstalling both java jre , jdk. appears environment path variable pointing older version of java. happened without approval cause still unknown. morale of story 'check yes, when asked if want remove older versions'!!!
