wordpress - Why do I see "Call to undefined function get_header()" errors logged in my theme directory? -

it seems every couple of days i'll ftp particular wordpress site , there small error log in theme directory, "call undefined function get_header()" error maybe 5 or 6 times on theme index file.

i have navigated every single page of site, every single post, every single attachment, every section in admin end, filled out every form, , no matter can't reproduce error. however, after couple of days i'll ftp in , see had happened few more times.

this no big deal site 100% functional, , size of error log insignificant, i'm going nuts trying figure out why it's happening.

has else ever experienced this?

i've seen on number of sites , number of different themes, , think errors results of bot traffic hitting theme files other index.php don't know sure, errors hit , miss figure that's happening.

if error log logs times of errors, see if there 404 errors (in 404 log, or set 1 up) correspond same times. or try , match ips, if both error logs record ip. either give more of idea of what's happening.
